The prepaid wireless market is hot so hot that Sprint decided it wasnt enough to just lease its wireless network to Virgin Mobile, it went ahead and bought the entire company. Prepaid offers some advantages over contract plans, most notably in the fact that you dont have a contract. Youre free to come and go as you please and can better budget your spending. While prepaid phones have come a long way in form and function, theyre generally not the slickest handsets out there. Motorola held an even in Toronto, Canada to showcase MotoBlur and the 3 new devices coming to Canada:
Motorola Dext – Bell
Motorola Backflip – Telus
Motorola Quench – Rogers

The BackFlip and Dext will be using HSPA, so it would be running on Telus’ and Bell’s new 3G network.
The phones have a 5 megapixel camera, a 3.1′ 320×480 capacitive display, and run Android OS 1.5.

Motorola’s MotoBlur is an “add-on” to Android OS and enhances the social networking experience dramatically.
